Cornell Gunther's Coasters A Biography of 60s Music is an authentic history of the group as told by Charlie Duncan, one of the members. Fraught with humor, the intimate story reflects the true on-the-road life of the world famous group. They globe trotted, singing at the biggest stages on earth. Their familiar tunes still fill the air waves with golden oldies stations and popular ads on the media. Cornel's tragic death didn't hold back Charlie Duncan from continuing with performances and selling out shows. Black history, and 60s music are woven into this well written untold history. A must read for any student of music.
