Not My Chair James Allen Jr,, a memoir of murder and redemption. At sixteen, James found himself embroiled in a robbery. His mentor, who drove James Allen Jr. to the scene, had assured James that the residence was empty. The mentor hadn't done a thorough investigation and in fact, there was a person inside the home. When James spotted the silhouette of a raised gun against the wall, James did what was instinctual, raised his gun. Raw emotions took hold, and James' shot was fatal. For thirty years, James paid for his crime. Now, he leading a clear-cut path of redemption, he is helping other youths not to take that path.
