For a taste of history The Pioneer Saloon Goodsprings, Nevada is an interesting and enlightening read. The book is an intense historical story of the city and the only standing restaurant. Adding insights, there are numerous interviews with the town folks during their yearly reunion. Most in their mid-eighties, the early settlers relay life in the pioneer days of Goodsprings. Nothing that is available in any other book. One-of-a-kind, the small book is packed with authenticity. A great read and a great reference book.
